Recent events in our economy and the sky-rocketing rate of unemployment is clear indication our communities have serious problems and we need serious people to help. The Dynamic Foundation is taking the necessary steps towards providing relief to families that are feeling the effects of a struggling economy.
The Dynamic Foundation exists because we are inextricably bound to one another. In order to help a struggling society we need to focus on the foundation of the problems, then execute accurate assistance.
There was over 750,000 jobs lost from 2008-2009. In November 2010 the national unemployment rate was reported to be 9.7%, MSN reports that rate "counts only people who reported looking for work in the past four weeks. It doesn't account for part-time workers who want to work more hours but are unable, given the tight job market. And it doesn't include those who have given up trying to find work. When the underemployed and the discouraged are added to the numbers, the unemployment rate rises to 16.6%." That's about 25 million jobless people. Employment opportunites have not increased, rather number of employees working 35 hours per week, or less, has exploded.
Every 3 months 250,000 new families enter into foreclosure. That means 1 child in every classroom in America is at risk of losing his/her home because their parents cannot afford to pay the mortgage.
For those living in poverty or close to the poverty line (43.6 million people), an "everyday" life situation that may be manageable for anyone receiving higher income, can be the final factor in putting them on the street. For families that can hardly pay their bills, a serious illness, hospitalization, broken down vehicle, lack of vehicle insurance/health insurance, or a sick child might be just enough to render someone homeless. It should be every American's responsibility to help secure a safe and stable "HOME"!
